PCB-Tension system is SCARPA's most minimalist tension system designed with prehensile foot movement and sensitivity in mind. Perfectly adapted to work with the SRT system, Power Connection Band gives the foot complete freedom by reducing layers around the foot and minimizing distance between the foot and rubber pad.
Innovative concept of active midsole adapting to the footshape while loading and unloading bodyweight to the forefoot area, for the best power transmission. The pre-tensioned rubber rand enhances toe power, providing a direct connection among the front edge of the sole, the upper closure and (lacing, Velcro®, elastic band) and heel area. In combination with half soles, the X-TENSION system supports the arch and forefoot area without reducing sensitivity, like stiff midsoles do.
